The Dublin Scioto Music program encompasses the Marching Band, the orchestra and the choir. Students have an opportunity to gain musical proficiency and a truly aesthetic satisfaction of an art form, so that they may better understand, enjoy, and participate in musical activities for the rest of their lives. With a focus on continual self-improvement, students cultivate the skills necessary for the development and success of themselves and the group.

Marching Band students help entertain the crowd during home and away football games, parades and other community events. Practices occur during the school day and during Band Camp over the summer. Please see the Calendar section for specific times.

Orchestra students may choose to participate in Irish Fiddle Fetish, an extra-curricular group that shares its high-spirited musicality with both local, national, and international groups. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings year-round from 7pm to 9pm.
